Paper Abstract:
|
This study aims to discuss themes addressed in older adults blog pages, and the roles of these blogs. As the Internet contains millions of blogs, the research was limited to the blogs between January 1, 2009 and January 31, 2010 and written in traditional Chinese. Concepts found in the target blogs were grouped into eight major themes. Seven roles, played by the older adults blogs, were identified. In this work in progress report, the researcher presents the preliminary data based on a content analysis methodology and the results are not considered final until a full analysis is completed. |
